Efforts are underway to work with CHERP = Community Home Energy Rerofit Project to bring them to Paterson and build a solar panel factory.
CHERP built the word's first Non-Profit solar panel factory in California and is considering starting a similar factory on the East Coast. Their goal is to employ staff from low and middle income families to work in the factory and in solar panel installation.
NECT is in conversation with CHERP to facilitate their investment in Paterson, NJ.
